Title: Archives for older Versions
Post by: kurtm on July 09, 2021, 09:29:04 am
It seems I can only find the latest version of OPNSense on the site. Do you maintain GitHub or similar to download older versions? The latest version 21.1.8 broke my network, and I need it in the morning, so would like to simply wipe the unit and install the previous version that worked.

You mean this? https://pkg.opnsense.org/releases/

Now, where is the url on the OPNSense website that points to that?

https://opnsense.org/download/ perhaps?

I think you are capable of traversing the mirror directories yourself.

Hi Mik,

19.7 is really old... the mirror only holds the last two years worth of images.

In that regard 20.1 is much like 19.7 still being HBSD 11.2. 20.7 then moves to HBSD 12.1.

Cheers,
Franco

Thank you for your kind reply Marco,

Can you confirm that it's always possible to make a smooth update starting from older versions (regardless of the starting version)?
Only by clicking update and following the process?
Thanks again.
