Title: OpnSense locking up when trying to view Audit Log
Post by: adk20 on June 05, 2021, 06:55:51 pm
I noticed the new "Audit Log" menu item.

However, when trying to view the audit log, my OpnSense installation hangs. 100% CPU load, 100% RAM, services stopping due to insufficient resources.

I had to reboot to get things back to working as normal. Has anyone experienced a similar behavior?

Here it works as it should. Have you tried resetting the log files? Maybe one has become corrupt. It's at System->Settings->Logging->Reset log files.
I am using non-circular logging btw.

@dinguz: I tried to reset the logs but OpnSense froze again, similar to when tried to view the audit log.

However, disabling circular logging helped. I suspect that I had set the non-circular log file size to a too large size...

Anyway, it's working now. Many thanks for your hint.
