I'm not sure what's in ipfire or kerio for web content filtering, OPNsense contains blacklisting using remote content lists. score based filtering like dansguardian provides is not on the list.

Adding remote blacklists is quite easy, just go to "Remote Access Control Lists" and add content providers in either plain text or tar.gz format.
We are looking in to adding some predefined sets for easier selection.

for example :

You can add lists for categories, you can use http://dsi.ut-capitole.fr/blacklists/index_en.php (http://dsi.ut-capitole.fr/blacklists/index_en.php) for example.
Every category at their end is a compressed list, which can be used instantly.

Use ftp://ftp.ut-capitole.fr/pub/reseau/cache/squidguard_contrib/malware.tar.gz (http://ftp://ftp.ut-capitole.fr/pub/reseau/cache/squidguard_contrib/malware.tar.gz) for example to block malware.

Just to make sure that this is not miscommunicated: you can block per category, all it takes is to set up each category with a specific link. That does satisfy your requirement. :)
