Title: Does Sensei integrate with Traffic Shaper for Application Classifications?

Title pretty much say it all, but I'm looking for something to help with the classification of traffic and Sensei looks like a near fit, but I need to be able to control flow not just block...  does Sensei integration assist with this?

Hi @tswalker, thank you for your interest in Sensei.

Traffic Shaping will be available in Q1 2021. This is one of the top requested features.

Just like you do with filtering now; you'll be able to create policies to match users/groups/networks, etc. and specify how you want specific Apps/App Categories/Web Categories to be treated in terms of QoS.

excellent.. thanks mb!  looking forward to trying it out.  I liked Sensei, but had to wait to get new hardware.. now that I have new hardware.. i'm really looking forward to this feature!

I also would like to know what is going on with this. The site lists it as a feature https://www.sunnyvalley.io/docs/#next-generation-firewall-features but I am not seeing it anywhere. I would really like to test that function for a business case, but until its implemented, its a no go.

I heard through the grapevine so complete rumors that the backend work is in alpha testing and they are building out the GUI with a target of Q1 22. Total rumors you know.

Excuse me: In the paid version, can it be controlled by time, the use time of the module: For example: I want to prohibit the running of game programs at 10PM. It can be used again after 10AM. Thanks a lot.

Yes, you can configure the policy(ies) in the paid version and assign a scheduled time. Please check the following document for further information about policies.
