Title: Firewall:Rules:WAN can't move my rule above default rules
Post by: stark on October 29, 2020, 10:38:54 pm
Hello All,

I've read around on the forum and followed the guides:

https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=8783.0

that I have seen and am at a point where I think I have a rule to allow port 1802 to be forwarded using an Alias to a PC on my LAN.  This is for Fantasy Grounds online tabletop.  However it does not work.  After some more reading I think I need to move the Rule above the standard rules so it acts before them.

To do this the guides say tick the box (on left of image) then select the arrow on the left of the rule you want to put the rule above.  These are not present.  I have tried Firefox, Chrome, Edge and even Internet Explorer.

Does anyone have any suggestions?  From other posts it looks like this is going to be converted to drag to rearrange sometime in the future.

Thanks,

R

Your destination is wrong. It should be WAN address. Did you create this rule manually?

Yes I created it manually; and I have now tweeked the rule so that under NAT>Port Forward>  the destination is "WAN net" and it now works.  Thank you.
