Thought I would share details of my new firewall build:
- Board: Jetway JNF795T2-Q170 (mini-ITX, 4 x LAN)
- CPU: Intel Core i3-7100
- RAM: 8GB (2 x 4GB)
- Storage: Intel 60GB SSD
- Case: CiT MTX-007B
So far working out well, and so much faster than my previous build which admittedly was about 5yrs old.

Which NIC is it?
Cheap Jetways usually have I211AT which have known problem with FreeBSD/OPNsense .. freezes and crashes
-
- 1 x Intel I219-LM PHY Gigabit LAN (iAMT 11.0) for my DMZ
- 3 x Intel I211-AT PCI-E Gigabit LAN for the WAN/LAN
My last build had 1 x Intel I211-AT (WAN) and 4x Intel 82574L (LAN etc) in the last Jetway which for 5yrs the only issue was this year when the 4x LAN daughter-card stopped working - was a mainboard problem.
So far so good, but I will be sure to report any issues going forward.

Hi,
Do you have any issue with Intel i219LM PHY because I intended to buy a barebone that uses this type of card ?

I haven't noticed anything since - I did do clean install and configure import a while back to upgrade to V23 and also from UFS to ZFS on the SSD. Very smooth experience.
