In the wiki it shows that before it existed ...

has anything changed in the latest releases?
Thanks

Most likely, and sooner if you provide information on your setup, what you've done so far, which errors you got, log entries you're unsure of, etc. etc. etc.
Have you tried VPN, OpenVPN, Client Export already?
Did it work? If not, which client did you use and how did it fail?

Absolutely! That is the beauty of FOSS. Study the source and amend where necessary.

It most certainly is, and if this is a feature that you can make a strong use case for then you should raise a requests on the project Github page: https://github.com/opnsense/
This forum is intended for peer support to help others use the software as-is. 8)

The windows installers with their frequent binary blob upgrades aren't something the core team is looking forward to maintain. It used to be in there, but we are happy it no longer is.
That doesn't mean a plugin can't be written that deals with online fetching of said installer binaries instead of being forced to distribute them through our source code. But eventually somebody will have to step up to provide the plugin code for this.
Cheers,

I came from pfSense and switched to opnSense and this totally tripped me up as well as all of the documents I came across, had the bin links included. Wouldn't it make sense to add some verbiage near the bottom explaining that you will need to get the clients manually? Or at least links to the clients?
