Title: Switch between LAN and DMZ blocks
Post by: Remi on November 02, 2015, 09:13:03 am
Hello,

I have an issue with the router FW-7568A on OPNsense 15.7.17-amd64 / FreeBSD 10.1-RELEASE-p19 / OpenSSL 1.0.2d 9 Jul 2015.

We configured three out of height interfaces :
1) em0 = LAN
2) em1 = WAN
3) em2 = DMZ

When we connect our workstation on DMZ interface (em2), we have an internet connection, the problem is when we reconnect our workstation on LAN interface (em0) we get an IP address of LAN network, but we don't have access to internet.

To recover an internet connection, we have to apply a change on a rule (even if it is disable).

The rules configured on the router are the following :
- LAN : Defaults rules (after a « reset to factory defaults »)
- WAN : Defaults rules (after a « reset to factory defaults »)
- DMZ : « DMZ allow to any rules »

Best regards,
Thank you.

Hi Remi,

Jos tested this at our office, it seems to go wrong when disconnecting cables.
No fix yet, more info here: https://github.com/opnsense/core/issues/451

Hi Remi,

It should be solved in the latest development version, details on the patch can be found on GitHub.

When Franco finishes the release, you can easily test the current development version by installing it via pkgng.
Some additional info on how to to do this can be found on the forum:
