Title: Problems with wifi clients on external asus AP.
Post by: se5312 on January 07, 2020, 03:27:17 am
Hi community,

I just set up an OPNsense router, and plug in an Asus AC68U router as AP/switch into LAN port of OPNsense.
As the figure below:

The problem is some of my wifi client don't have internet access (android phones).
The wifi clients are assigned with a DHCP address, I could see it in the "DHCPv4: Leases" webpage.

How do I diagnosis the problem?

DHCP server on the Asus is turned of?

Yes, Asus Ac68u is in AP mode, so no dhcp server on it.

Do you have the problem on all android devices or only on some of them?
With other devices (ios, windows) and wifi everything works fine?

Only some of the android phone not connected to internet. They still got an dhcp range ip.
Other wifi devices are working good.

Update:
After a reboot on OPNsense router, all wifi devices seem working again.
No idea why...
