Title: Updated to 19.7.r_1, but upgrade wants to do it again :(
Post by: lrosenman on July 10, 2019, 06:02:11 pm
did the upgrade, but the system wants to do it again.

Why?

I'd put the upgrade log in, but it's too big. :(

BTW: it would be nice if the limits on attachments, post size, etc were raised on the forums.

-devel will just keep asking for it. It's meant for testing.

Ok.  Just making sure it's not a bug :)

In this case no. It will keep asking until 19.7 is out and -devel is synced along with it to stop asking.

The only reason here is we stage changes in -devel so that we can look at them and redo them. For that reason the upgrade files and links are static files shipped with the core package so even when you delete them they will reappear on reinstall.

# rm /usr/local/opnsense/firmware-*

That will hide the message.

# opnsense-revert opnsense-devel

That will bring it back. :)

Cheers,
