Title: [SOLVED] AP inside GREEN network issues
Post by: cricchio10 on July 10, 2019, 10:16:31 am
Hello Everyone,
i'm new of OPNSense, i come from IPCop\IpFire distro.
I'm italian, sorry for any type of mistake  :P
I have this situation inside my network

WAN = 192.168.10.0/24
            (FritzBox 7530: 192.168.10.1, WiFi Disable,
             OPNSense: 192.168.10.2,
             FritzBox have NAT 1-1 to OPNSense)
LAN = 192.168.1.0/24
             (OPNSense: 192.168.1.1)
At the moment i don't have particular settings in OPNSense, just a firewall!
OPNSense don't have service for DHCP, i have two Domain Controllers in the network with DHCP/DNS services for Active Directory. I have a strange issues, in the LAN network there is a AP (192.168.1.22), i can't create a separate network for WiFi device, don't have enough NIC in firewall for that and i need to keep the AP in LAN for office colleagues. The problem is that, the devices connected to the AP do not connect to the WiFi, they try but do not succeed and therefore they disconnect themselves from the wifi network. Is there any kind of configuration to allow the devices to connect to the AP and access the network, what am I forgetting? Currently I have not added any firewall rules except for the openVPN that allows me to manage the firewall from home.

After AP factory reset, the AP work without any configuration.
I don't know why, IMHO my mistake!
