Title: [SOLVED] OPNsense 15.7.7_1-i386 - Connection Error checking for updates

I've been successfully doing updates with the GUI since 15.1.  Yesterday, and today, checking for updates results in:

Connection Error
Click to retry

I had a problem with this a day or so back, have you tried running it from the konsole?

Not yet. I run it headless as an appliance, so I have to drag out some peripherals to do that.

Some mirror problems were fixed in _3, but to fix your current problem add them under General settings.

I assume you mean under System-> Firmware?  If I check there, it says "current status is unknown" and isn't offering any.

Odd. Maybe Franco can give you a better answer, otherwise I would start over and update directly to _3 from the console.

If you run 15.7.7_1, go to "System: Settings: General", select a firmware mirror and hit save. This has been addressed in 15.7.7_3 and won't happen anymore. :)
