Title: WAN IP Renewal every 20 min
Post by: ruffy91 on February 11, 2019, 01:23:28 pm
Since we are on 19.1.1 our WAN connection renews exactly every 20 min.
We noticed it because random states were dropped from the state table.
IPSec was sending packets but incoming packets for the same connection were dropped by default drop etc.

I found following System Log entries:
Code: [Select]

The IP address does not change when this happens.
This did not happen with 18.7.10_4.
Hardware is an APU3C4 with Bios 4.0.23

Any idea what is causing these unnecessary renewals which happen exactly all 1200s?

For someone having the same problem:
https://github.com/opnsense/core/issues/3197
Unfortunately there is something broken in 19.1.1/HBSD 11.2 when using DHCP on WAN.
