Title: Change IP to GUI
Post by: TaceN on January 19, 2019, 05:17:22 pm
Hey,

I've got an up and running opnsense atm.
I need to change the ip of the gui. Right now it's set to 192.168.1.100 on my LAN interface and 192.168.1.186 on my USB Network adapter. How can I change so I access the web gui to the usb network adapter?

Thanks!

Under System -> Settings -> Administration you find

Listen Interfaces

Here you choose on which interfaces the GUI is listening. Or did you ask for something different, as both your interfaces appear to be in the same subnet?

Not a great idea to switch the management to an unreliable adapter. Just my two cents.

Cheers,

Why I need this is because I've got the WAN connected directly to be CPE and the usb network adapter connected to router.

Now I need to be able to send traffic between the LAN and the WAN. Just don't know how.
