Title: web proxy multi-wan
Post by: keropiko on December 16, 2018, 04:50:17 pm
Hi all,

i have correctly set up the web proxy for my various internal networks.
What i see is that the web proxy does not use the loadbalance gateway for the port 80 rule but instead the "default" gateway only.
Is there any rule i can use to have load balance work, or should there be an option to use a Gateway group as "default gateway"?

Thank you.

Loadbalance only works with traffic going through the Firewall. Proxy is local initiated.

proxy is local initiated means it only uses the default gateway or something else?

Is there possibility to make proxy go out though the loadbalance gateway? or insert an option to use a loadbalance gateway as default that that local services can go out through it?

No, sadly not. I also fought with this one, but no chance ...

But maybe it is possible to setup multiple Proxy instances with separate gateways and manage the loadbalancing internally?
That would also be great for routing specific proxy traffic through a specific gateway.
