Title: EMMC support on 19.1 ß
Post by: bob@afrinet.eu on October 23, 2018, 03:31:20 pm
We were testing the 19.1ß since It should now be able to boot on Denverton MB.
But we think that there is a problem with the EMMC support.

Do you know if the following modules are compiled with the actual ß kernel in 19.1 ?

Thanks for your reply.

Here is the output of the boot.
This platform is working with pfSense 2.4.4.

We have removed all extension cards (4G, WiFi) this has no effect on boot which keeps on hanging just after sdhci_pci0-slot0

19.1 will be 11.2 so that should be fine.

Can't give out test images at this point. We're still working on finalising the 19.1-BETA internally.

Cheers,
Franco

Looks like you have some libraries in  FreeBSD-src/sys/dev/sdhci/*
which are partly from 11.1 and partly from 11.2

Like sdhci_fdt.c

Maybe merging with what's in there might help : https://github.com/freebsd/freebsd/tree/releng/11.2/sys/dev/sdhci/*

src.git master is on 11.2. Check your sources. :)
