Title: trying to make spare NICs (opt1 and op2) part of LAN
Post by: plumpychunq on September 12, 2018, 04:36:21 PM
Hello,
I'm trying to make OPT1 and OPT2 part of the LAN so it acts like a simple switch for additional devices.
Is there a step by step guide that does this for Opnsense?
I followed this guide for pfsense but it didn't work.

https://mtu.net/~engstrom/configure-pfsense-bridge-over-multiple-nics-as-lan/ (https://mtu.net/~engstrom/configure-pfsense-bridge-over-multiple-nics-as-lan/)

Any help would be awesome.  Thanks in advanced.

There is a doc for this waiting to be merged into the wiki, in the meantime I've loaded it to my webserver, it doesn't display as nicely as the wiki but it will get you there.
