Hello
to configure libreSSL or openSSL (https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/install.html)
it say to go GUI |System⇒Settings⇒General
but i found it under
system, Firmware, Settings to select it.
I also find out to select libreSSL it still will show openssl in the Lobby Dashboard
have a nice day
vinc
I'll fix the documentation right away, to be uploaded within a few days.
Also note the note below the firmware settings:
"In order to apply these settings a firmware update must be performed after save, which can include a reboot of the system."
OpenSSL and LibreSSL can't be installed at the same time, so as long as you switch but don't install....
Cheers,
Franco
PS: The note will now also be part of the documentation. :)

ok this is important yes, but i could not do a update ...
Did updates ever work for your system? What version did you first install, what are you running now?
Cheers,
Franco
OPNsense 17.7.5-amd64 | FreeBSD 11.0-Rel-p12
and no it did never work. At this time the Firewall ist only conected to the LAN Port to the net
Ok, as stated elsewhere you need to add a gateway to your LAN.
Or reassign your ports to use a WAN-only, in that case DHCP works and the box has instant internet access.
