Hi,
I'm pretty new to OPNsense, trying to add a wifi adapter, any idea how can I add the driver for this ?

Many thanks !
Do you know which adapter this is? The debug output is not as helpful as the product name / number.
Also, type this to see if the driver is already loaded:
# sysctl -n net.wlan.devices
And if there is no device, a "pciconf" dump of the bus...
# pciconf -vl
Cheers,
Franco
Thank you for your reply Franco !
Can it be that actually run0 is the one I am looking for?
# sysctl -n net.wlan.devices
run0
dmesg | grep run0
run0: <1.0> on usbus0
run0: MAC/BBP RT3070 (rev 0x0201), RF RT3020 (MIMO 1T1R), address 74:f0:6d:85:92:dc
# pciconf -vl

Should be. So you can go straight to Interfaces: Wireless: Devices and add a clone for run0, which you can then use to assign a wireless network to.
Cheers,
Franco
Thanks again !
Now the plan is to follow this guide in order to create a guest network:
https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/how-tos/guestnet.html
Hi zanga,
Cool, marking this solved and good luck!
Cheers,
Franco
Hi all, How can I enable the real driver?? since run0 dosnt support full speed and others...I saw that FreeBSD 12 supports it
run driver didnt have 802.11n enabled in kernel of 21.1 version
I've applied a little patch from S12 and build , see:
