Hello opnSense community,
I've several clients where I'm using MAC Alias in my FW rules.
I did the update to version 26.4.2 last week without facing any issues.
Yesterday I add some rules with clients where I use MAC Alias inside, as soon as I stored this some former working rules where I was using this MAC-Alias in a group stopped working. Changing the Alias to Network and the IP Adress everything was working fine again immediately. But same time rules where I was using the MAC-Alias directly without using a group where not affected by this issue.
Is there a difference in using Alias directly or in group?
