OPNsense/CARP handles very well when a master router entirely goes down. But if a router becomes a slave on LAN it should automatically become a slave on WAN too or the systems behind the redundant setup still will be offline despite the use of CARP. Is there any way to transfer the slave status of one interface to all other interfaces? Manipulating
net.inet.carp.demotion
with some custom scripting would work, but does OPNsense provide this functionality via GUI?
