Title: Planning update from 26.7.1_1 to 26.7.2
Post by: santi.benejam on August 19, 2026, 09:58:35 AM
I'm planning the OPNSense update from version 26.7.1_1 to 26.7.2 that I have installed in a Protectli FW6D  with ZFS. I've been reading that there have been problems with the os-cpu-microcode plugin and the EFI partition resulting that OPNSense won't boot, I don't have the plugin s-cpu-microcode installed.
Is it safe to upgrade to version 26.7.2?.
Yesterday I upgraded a Protectli FW6C that I have in case the Protectli FW6D that we have in production fails and the update ended well.
Apart from making a backup of the configuration and a snapshot do I have to take any additional measures?

Running 26.7.2 on Protectli Vault FW6E, which is essentially same device as yours, no issues at all.
