Title: Web interface borked after upgrade. Running slow.
Post by: gordonsj on July 16, 2026, 11:32:22 AM
Did the upgrade and it is mostly working. Sort of. N150 generic mini PC from CWWK, 8Gb ram, running headless. Updated and rebooted. Logon to dashboard is very slow and it comes up with the webpage not running CSS: IE A pile of links rather than a properly formatted page. So the Web interface is practically useless. It does seem to be passing traffic as expected.
Any suggestions to fix? I would rather not rebuild my firewall.

That sounds similar to this one. https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=52389.0

Setting the tunable kern.ipc.tls.enable to 0 repaired it on my devices.

I had the same problem where my GUI would randomly freeze for a minute at a time, then work for a bit, then freeze again.  Once I added this tunable my 26.7 OPNsense became stable again.
