First of all, my deepest respect to everyone fighting the current wave of security issues. And I mean it.
Updating my test system, I've found that the "Click to view pending updates." message remains even after the update has been applied. Clicking on the message again shows no further updates. Health checks indicate no problems, except the update check:

You can dismiss this upgrade log so it no longer shows in the audit selection, but keep in mind each major upgrade will generate a new log and present it.
