Hi,
I've tried to update one of my two cluster nodes from community 26.1.11 to the business edition 26.4.1. The other node is already on business edition 26.4.1.
But unfortunately after the update "successfull" update the version shown in the interface is that hash: 51cfab9b34925df9a7ab2af46782b588467255d6
Also if I try to check for updates, I get the following error:
***GOT REQUEST TO CHECK FOR UPDATES***

I've already tried to pkg update -f which results in the following error:
root@OPN01:~ # pkg update -f
Updating OPNsense repository catalogue...
pkg: Repository OPNsense has a wrong packagesite, need to re-create database
Unable to update repository OPNsense

I've tried to clear the whole pkg db as well, but also without avail.
If reselect the community repo, type to community and check for updates, I get the following error:

Please advice how to fix the installation.
Thanks in advance!
Huh, I'm wondering how that could happen pointing to 26.7:

I would have expected 26.4 or 26.1...
Can you try the advanced option "flavour" as: 26.4/latest
And recheck for updates?
Cheers,
Franco

That fixed it. Was able to check for updates & update to 26.4.1p1_2.
Thanks Franco!
Good. Don't forget to clear the flavour else you're in trouble after a major upgrade.
Meanwhile I could reproduce and I know what's wrong so I'll fix it. Releng mysteries. Sorry about that.
Thanks,
Franco
Already cleared :)
No worries. Appreciate the quick response & fix (configuration & code wise)
Thanks!
Fixed on the mirror now. Appears to be 2 fringe behaviours interacting. I'll have to take a closer look, but I'll make sure that this does not happen on future updates anymore.
Cheers,
Franco
