Hello,

Hi Mathias,
Only a temporary update glitch. The code is new in 26.1.9 and the plugin got the code before the core update in the update order it has. :)

Yesterday I updated sveral boxes with ansible to 26.1.9.
from more than 20 boxes 6 were crashed. the failor after reboot shows that some parts of the filesystem aren't reachable anymore. /usr/local/ /var/log/...
On top opnsense_auth wasn't reachable so lokal login to the box was not possible. The most i reinstalled now and wrote the config back. But what could happen there. Feels very unconfortable on this.

Without logs it's impossible to say what you were looking at, but it sounds like disk/file system giving in which we wouldn't be able to do much about.
Cheers,
Franco
I just repaired the last one and made a Video from boot sequenz. It shows a Freebsd Loge at first, perhaps its a hint.
Its difficult to look in the logs without login ;-). To examine the disk and check it with external system there was no time. If you would like to check the video i can offer a download-link over my nextcloud.
First I thougt about zfs, but boxes were on ufs. So thats not the point. One last box i can't reach at the moment.
UFS is definitely less favourable than ZFS in such instances. If you can drop me the link via PM that would be great.
Thanks,
Franco
