Hello. I am using it on a mini PC with a converter, but only 1 port is visible, the 2nd port is not visible. Do you have any information about a solution?
You gotta provide a lot more information if anyone should be able to help you.
- what OPNsense version are you using?
- exact mini PC model/motherboard (motherboard is the most important part
- exact i226-T2 model
- exact converter model
- which port is the converter placed on the motherboard?
- the output of "pciconf -lv'
-I am using the latest version.
-I am using a Chuwi UBox PC with AMD Ryzen™ 5 6600H.
-Open Smart 2 Port Intel I226-T2 2.5GbE PCIe X1 Ethernet Card - OPS8207NT
-Alfais 4436 M.2 Ngff SSD to PCI-e Express 4x
During the initial setup phase, it sees all the NICs as igc0 and igc1, then when installing on the disk, the system only sees igc0 and the other Realtek ones.
Console, or ssh in --> option 8
What does ifconfig show?
How about
pciconf -lv | awk '/class=0x0200/ {print; for(i=1;i<=6;i++){getline; print}}'
I solved the problem; it was related to the converter I was using. Thank you.

Thanks for reporting back. What converter did you end up using? Would maybe helpful for future reference.
I've only used single port a+e slot i226v cards and no problems so far. The dual cards are interesting for a few reasons, would like to know how this was fixed in case I ever need to go 6 ports in one of my T740.
