After installing OPNsense version 26.1.7, users (including root) are unable to save changes through the GUI (e.g., comments, emails, etc.).
Edit: It doesn't show an error, but the Save button does nothing. There are no error logs in the GUI.
Can you help?

Did you hit Apply Changes button at the top after saving ?
Thank you for your reply.
When I click SAVE, nothing happens. The expected outcome is the window disappearing and returning to the user list.
This option doesn't have an "Apply Changes" button at the top.

Thats the browser issue then. You are either zoomed in a lot, or have something that breaks/blocks elements on the page. Probably antivirus solution or some browser plugin.
I understand your response, but unfortunately I've already tested it with another browser and on another PC and it didn't solve the problem.
I created a new user in the new version and it started working correctly.
The root user cannot be replaced and is having the problem.
I wanted to understand what happened. I don't have much experience with OpenSense (1 week). There should be errors in the logs, right?
Could it be some change in this version, as has happened in previous versions? I've already looked for something wrong in user/conf/config.xml, but I didn't find anything.
I've been using Sophos Firewall Home for over 2 years and never had similar problems. I'm looking for a more customized and lighter firewall and I believe OpenSense is the answer.
I have everything working on OpenSense (VPN, Zenamor, DDNS, HTTPS, CrowdSec, IPGEO, Monitor, etc.)... but this problem is killing me :(
In that case, the only thing that pops to my mind is hardware issue. Your ram or your storage might be dying and corrupting the data. Just my wild guess. I have 26.1.7 running on my systems, and never had any issues with it.
I had already thought about that, but I want to believe that's not it.
For now, I've disabled root (config.xml) and added a user with sudo privileges. Everything is working without errors in the logs and at 900Mbps/900Mbps in a VM with an AMD R1600 (it's at the limit).
Let's see how it behaves in the next few days and see if I don't revert to the Sophos firewall home.
Thank you very much for your help. Best regards.
