I've just upgraded to 26.1 from 25.7.
Everything looks fine but I have to understand how the Firewall Rules Migration Assistant works exactly.
I exported and checked my csv and imported it, everything looks fine but now I have the same rules on both the old and the new UI. Which rules does the firewall use in this state? The old or the new ones? I know that the assistant has the ability to delete old rule but foirst I'd like to test whether everything works as it should or not.

Currently both old and new rules are active on your system. I have no idea in which order they are applied.
Disable all the old rules, check if everything works, if yes delete them with the assistant.
In firewall rules new when pressing Inspect you should also see all legacy rules mixed in, with the correct order displayed.
