I have a second identical server to function as a replacement of a production machine. I have remote console to both.
I can install remotely and import config through virtual devices and opnsense-importer.
What I would like to do is also to update the reserve machine without internet and LAN connection, only remote console (both machines are supermicro servers). Otherwise I have to wait after work hours which I would like to avoid as much as possible.
I have read about downloading repository on USB and then mounting but have not found a clear instruction yet.
Any help would be welcome.
