Title: Planning to install v26.1.4
Post by: hushcoden on March 12, 2026, 05:11:26 PM
For sanity check, can I fresh install the latest version and then import the settings via backup file considering I'm running v25.7.11_9 ?

Anything to be aware of?

Tia.

Possibly you need to install the ISC DHCP plugin if you are using ISC at the moment and have not yet migrated to a different DHCP service.

Thanks, and will I have to tweak/change any of the firewall rules at all (including NAT, port-forward/outbound)?

I upgraded to 26.1.4 overnight (though I was already on 26.1.x previously).  I did notice that all my permitted networks lost Internet post-upgrade.  All the Firewall rules were correct and had not changed.  I hit the solution by removing my WAN Gateway entry and re-creating it, even though I didn't change any of its settings.
