Recently I did a bare metal install of 16.1. The install went well and I noticed that "Dnsmasq DNS & DHCP" have replaced the older assignment process. All the users on my network are assigned IP's within the range setup in "DHCP Ranges" with random assignments. I would like to know if there is a way to set static IP's for specific MAC numbers. I notice that when one adds a "reservation" on the "Leases" screen that the static assignment is the same IP as previously assigned. Is this a characteristic of 16.1 or am I missing something? Suggestions would be appreciated.
