Title: Driver
Post by: viper359 on February 07, 2026, 02:29:08 PM
Ok, I am clearly an idiot
I am setting up OPNsense
I need a driver for my NIC
When I use the fetch command, I get a 404 error
When i go directly to the website I also get a 404 error
I have tried other links around the net for older versions, still get the same error

https://pkg.freebsd.org/FreeBSD:14:amd64/latest/All/Hashed/aquantia-atlantic-kmod-0.0.5.1403000_3~edd0755de0.pkg

https://www.freshports.org/net/aquantia-atlantic-kmod/ shows releases

How do I download this bloody thing to get my firewall working

Good News : You are not :)

This link :

Is simply a HTTP 404 at the moment...

I think you will need to do this :
cd /usr/ports/net/aquantia-atlantic-kmod/ && make install cleanBut I don't know yet if this kind of well known FreeBSD stuff is recommended in combination with OPNsense ?!

In the past I learned a lot from FreeBSD and the /usr/ports and /usr/src directories and how cvsup -g -L 2 and portupgrade -aRr and stuff like that works :)

Since that driver doesn't support the newer cards people are mostly looking for we try to stay away from it to avoid further expectation that it works...
