Title: Upgrade on fresh install bricks device - 25.7

Hello, I was running just fine on the 25.1.12 release and performed an upgrade. This led to missing files and disk corruption. So, I tried a fresh install and that works fine until I attempt to upgrade to 25.7.6 and it then breaks mid-upgrade and I'm left with a broken system. Not sure how to proceed here as I can't seem to install any packages either as it blocks me due to requiring an upgrade. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you sooooooo much. I spent all day fighting with this. For anyone else I added these 3 to the tunables in the webui, rebooted, then ran the upgrade without it crashing.

vm.pmap.pcid_enabled=0
hw.ibrs_disable: 0
vm.pmap.pti: 1
