Title: Dropdown Menu Error on Vivaldi (Chromium based browser)
Post by: charles.adams on October 18, 2025, 06:05:26 AM
Hi, I'm having a similar problem to what was described by https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=16955.0 but my problem browser is Vivalidi.

Is there a solution to many of the drop down menu's having this display error on the Opnsense side or do I need to ask at the browser's forum?

This issue only shows up in Opnsense and not on other sites including internal ones I'm running.

Opnsense 25.10 Business edition on DEC 850v2

Hi,

These screenshots are extremely old, this can't be version 25.10. Just for the fun I've installed Vivaldi on my end, which renders the examples without issues on recent versions (even 24.10).

Best regards,

For others who run into this issue. It is caused by setting a chromium flag:

chromium_flag.png

If you set it wrong you will get this problem on selection boxes that the browser can't guess at the autofill.

can you try to switch to a standard theme (opnsense or opnsense-dark) first?
