Title: upnp seems to be missing - is it?
Post by: NugentS on August 17, 2025, 04:34:24 AM
Ignoring the security implications of using UPNP. I wanted to test something so I thought I would briefly install UPNP, run my test and then get rid of it.

According to my research I need to install os-upnp, and possibly miniupnps (or similar)

But its not there - there is nothing upnp related in either plugins or packages. Has it been removed?

Just to check I installed a new vanilla OpnSense and checked the packages and plugins and there is no sign of UPNP there either

I am using OPNsense 25.7.1_1-amd64

Have you checked top-right, community plugins?

As @sope8260 said, you have to enable 'Show community plugins' in 'System: Firmware', tab 'Plugins'

Thank you

That was (with hindsight) obvious
