Title: Struggling to update to OpenVPN (Non legacy)
Post by: ermannobonfazi on July 29, 2025, 01:36:06 PM
I have a VPN client (legacy) that works perfectly (connected with a PFSense firewall remote). I'm trying to migrate the client (legacy) due upcoming discontinuation to the new OpenVPN. I cannot figure out how to get the client IP assigned. The NEW tunnel authenticate and connect but I have no local IP assigned. IN the old legacy client there was the option to enter the IP V4 Tunner Newtwork IP (see image) and I cannot find any way to enter this information in the new client. Any help?

The tunnel network and hence the client IPs are managed by the server anyway.
So specifying the IP in the client settings is even useless.
