Even though quite some states listed, any search (for anything) returns "No results found".
My OPNsense installation is on OPNsense 25.1.5_5-amd64 (will update soon/next possible time window to latest).
Tested against 3 different browsers (cache cleared) and tried different (and standard) themes.
Then tested against an OPNsense 24.1.10_8-amd64 installation with the same outcome "No results found".
Might this be a simple filtering issue?
Interested in hearing others findings.
Thanks, have a nice day!
Searches on complete IP addresses seem to work.

You're right, but it's sometimes slow to type in the whole IP.
And other times you simply want to see a range.
I do not use that feature enough to remember what's been possible... I could find no documentation about what should be possible.

Well, as with most such search fields today (in web frontends), i would expect it to be a "find" any match pattern like *[search term]*
That should also be easy to do – and is already implemented in other places of OPNsense (genarl search box top/right as an example).
It could be pushed a little further, with it being regex style.
