Hi forum,
Since the upgrade to 25.1.5, I cannot see any details of my Suricata logs. When clicking on an entry in the log, I just get an empty pop-up.
Clearing the browser cache does not help.
Any ideas are much welcome.

Hi,
I'm having this same issue. Whenever I click on the "View Alert Info" button, I get an empty pop-up instead of the usual window displaying alert info and allowing me to change the rule disposition.
Tried different browsers and clearing cache as well, to no success.
More of an annoyance than an issue, but a suggestion on how to solve it would be much appreciated.
Hi,
same story here. Everything was working fine, until last update to OPNsense 25.1.5_5
Is there any workaround for that?
Same here:
Versions
OPNsense 25.1.5_5-amd64
FreeBSD 14.2-RELEASE-p2
OpenSSL 3.0.16
no details in alert window. Its just empty.
Have the same problem running 25.1.5_5 and tried issuing patch 6a89c89 as instructed here: https://github.com/opnsense/core/issues/8550
This partially solved the problem. I can now see detailed content in the topmost alert, but all other are still empty.
same here ==>
OPNsense 25.1.5_5-amd64
FreeBSD 14.2-RELEASE-p2
OpenSSL 3.0.16
Logged in to say "ditto." I forgot to dig into this until I saw this post. Thanks for posting! Since there are so many of us, I will wait to see if a fix comes out rather than unloading and reloading.
The latest patch on Friday also did not solve the problem.
OPNsense 25.1.6_2-amd64
FreeBSD 14.2-RELEASE-p3
OpenSSL 3.0.16
I can confirm that the log viewer still doesn't work.
On a side note, the dates in the drop-down menu are not sorted chronologically. It's not new, this "bug" has been around for quite some time. However, I wonder if there are any plans for fixing this?
The last firmware upgrade (25.1.6_4) fixed it for me.
Versions
OPNsense 25.1.6_4-amd64
FreeBSD 14.2-RELEASE-p3
OpenSSL 3.0.16
