Title: Cron reboot to fix slow download?
Post by: DoubleSpeed on January 25, 2025, 08:35:25 AM
Hi All,

I'm really happy with my Opnsense router I've been using it for several months now and all is great however recently I've noticed that every few days when I perform a speed test the results show I get about a quarter of what it should be e.g. 250MBs when I should be getting around 1GBs. If I reboot my Opnsense router I instantly get the 1GBs. I know I can set up a cronjob to reboot the router every few days which I don't really have a problem with however it would be better to reboot the service that is likely causing this slowness rather than the whole router, does anyone know which service is likely causing the behaviour I have described so I can try just rebooting that?

Thanks in advance.
