Title: unbound blocklists / extended on Business edition
Post by: DEC670airp414user on January 11, 2025, 02:12:31 PM
for Oisd blocklist to work.    does it have to be check in both the standard block list and the extended blocklist area?
for years now I have only utilized the non extended.     I just decided to test this today and several of the url's on the blocklist are working on devices on my network?

2nd.   is there a written instructions to add manually something like Hagazi's lists?

thanks

edit.  now that I've enabled the extended blocklist.  and enabled adguard,  abuse,ch, stevenblack.   it appears to be working..
Firefox focus on my cellphone with wireless connection only to my opnsense immediately gives a bad url message.

another edit.  overall memory usage went from 25% to 30% too!

Hagezi's lists can be added via advanced mode in the 'URLs of Blocklists'.
The cron job to update DNSBLs also updates these. Check the log file for proper operation.

That looks good for the initial download. Check the log again for the time you selected for the daily refresh.
