Title: Why is there no actual Factory Reset?
Post by: frozen on December 30, 2024, 06:11:51 AM
I don't understand the logic here

You go to the console, perform a factory reset

The device reboots, and all the garbage is reloaded that defeats the purpose of performing the factory reset

For the love of God, can you just simply make a proper factory reset for heavens sake?

I want EVERYTHING gone when I perform a reset, I don't want it recalling a bunch of plugins that lead me to perform the reset in the first place

Can you not use the GUI to remove plugins before reset?

If not, I would be reinstalling rather than resetting.

Probably uses the same logic as the console option, but have you tried : System: Configuration: Defaults ?
