Remember, that you have add firewall rules for going out manually to additional interfaces.
You can copy them from LAN to the new interface and change the source accordingly.

Also ensure that there is an outbound NAT rule in place on WAN for the source of the the subnet if the outbound NAT is in automatic or hybrid mode. If it's in manual mode for whatever reason you have to add the rule by yourself.

Please show the details of the interface configuration (screen shot), the details of the DHCP service configuration for that interface (screen shot), the details of the firewall rule you created (also screen shot).

Without that information how should anyone guess what might be wrong?

Do you even get IP?
Because DHCP is not enabled on that last screen, and the range is not specified...

What are the symptoms from the client's perspective?
IP?
DNS?
Ping gateway?
Ping DNS?

What exactly do you want to achieve?

Do you want more than one separate network, e.g. one for you and one for guests or IoT devices or some such? Or do you simply want to plug another device into your OPNsense device (what kind of device is it?) and expect it to end up in the LAN network?

By default OPNsense has only a single LAN and a single WAN port. OPNsense is not a switch or a consumer router with multiple LAN ports. You are supposed to connect a switch to LAN and plug all your devices into that one.

That being said if you have a device with more than two ports and if you want to "just plug in some more PCs" (lots of "if" and it would be really helpful if you described all of that from the start), then yes, you can emulate a switch by creating a LAN bridge.

The documentation on how to do that is here:

https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/how-tos/lan_bridge.html

Any further advice depends on what you actually want to do which you have not yet stated at all.

In which way exactly does it "not work"? Show all details of your interface configuration for the at least three (two physical, one bridge) interfaces involved, show the "Asssignments" screen for your interfaces, pay special attention to thw two tunables you must set as step six of the documentation ...

The procedure does work as documented if followed to the letter. Seriously.

To create a LAN bridge following the documentation you must have physical access to your OPNsense box because one step requires switching cables/ports. If you did not do this at your first attempt it consequently cannot have worked. As documented ... try again when you are at the site.
