Title: Blink Camera issue after installing 24.7.11
Post by: DoubleSpeed on December 21, 2024, 03:51:29 PM
Hello All,

I've had no issues with my Blink Cameras all have been working normally until I installed 24.7.11 since then the video feed has not worked, I cannot access live camera view and also whilst I receive alerts that cameras have been triggered by motion no clips are being saved to the cloud so I cannot view any video, can any please help guide me to troubleshoot and fix this issue, something in the 24.7.11 update seem to be blocking something, port, protocol etc how do I track this down can anyone advise?

Firewall diagnostics, live view? To start by looking if traffic is being blocked. It shouldn't if it all worked before, so I don't expect to see much there in terms of blocks.
But we can't guess your setup, so please start with that.

Spent quite a lot of time trying to get to the bottom of this issue, I don't see any blocks I can see that the sync module can connect OK however I now think that the issue is between the cameras and the sync module it seems to be just the video feed as the cameras show as online and if I try to get live view you can see it trying it kinda gets there but eventually fails.

What within the LAN could be stopping / blocking this, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

You've missed a lot of information, like if the video feed is internal on the LAN or external. Both cases are very different in terms of networking. One is an internal network and typically won't go through OPN and the latter does, which calls for a view of your firewall rules setup.
What is a sync module?
So far you have us with "my stuff isn't working, what can it be?". Far too broad and instead of us prompting you question by question to narrow it down, please explain the setup. Second ask.
