Title: Importing New Config Hangs at "Invoking start script 'sysctl'
Post by: GlowDrop on December 04, 2024, 03:57:32 AM
Hi all. New and not very knowledgeable so if I'm missing information you need please let me know.

I'm attempting to import a backup of my config to new hardware and the import proceeds normaly until it reaches "Invoking start scipt 'sysctl' and then it hangs and nothing I do from that point changes anything. I can still type into the command prompt but nothing happens. ctrl+C does not kill the import. I have left it for hours thinking maybe it just was taking a while but no progress. Where to I even start to resolve this so I can get my config imported?

I remember this vaguely. Something about eee sysctl values in em/igb NIC driver?

I wish I knew what this meant. I appreciate you taking the time to post though.

Open the XML config file in an editor, search for "eee", post here what you find with a couple of lines of context - not the entire file.
