Title: WAN INTERFACE FREQUENT DISCONNECTION
Post by: cdsane on October 30, 2024, 10:00:37 AM
Hello All
I have a recurring issue about my wan interface on Opnsense frequently going off and having to manually turn it back on
My use case of this OPNsense is that I am a VPN administrator for my company and we offer Wireguard VPN for our employees who will have to access internal company resources when working from home most of the time after every two weeks this issue comes up where the WAN interface shows connected alright but then no traffic seems to come through that interface. Could that be as a result of a misconfiguration on my end ?
Also not just for the Wireguard OPNsense firewall other OPNsense we have at our other sub-offices face the same WAN issues what could be the course, please

What hardware are you using exactly and how are these WAN interfaces connected to the Internet?
