No, don't think so  8)

It is set by the FreeBSD kernel based on the module that supports the hardware https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/handbook/network/ under 7.2.1

The 'optN' interface identifiers are internal to OPNsense (as opposed to the device names, which are assigned by the OS/device drivers). I don't think there's any way to change the interface identifiers other than to download (backup) your configuration XML, edit it, and upload (restore) it. You'd have to be careful about any references to those identifiers. See also https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=40985.0
