Title: Public IP as ALIAS
Post by: FredFresh on October 26, 2024, 06:36:11 PM
I am trying to forward all the traffic outgoing from the WAN interface to the VPN gateway.
I believe to be almost there, but I need to create an alias = wan interface/public IP.

I tried, but It seems that there isn't a default onealready available and I can't add the wan interface within the Alias setup page.

Any suggestion? thank you

The predefined "WAN address" is your IP on that interface.

I think you cannot put the predefined aliases in groups.

I think you cannot put the predefined aliases in groups.

You can for the interface network, which are real aliases, but not for some of the other predefined options in the firewall rule interface, like "This Firewall" or the interface addresses.

I can't wait for the day that the firewall ui is migrated to mvc.
