Title: Kea DHCPv4 not showing LAN leases
Post by: Snuffy2 on October 07, 2024, 04:59:43 AM
I've moved all of my DHCPv4 leases over to Kea a couple of months ago. Since then, none of the leases on my LAN subnet appear under Kea Leases. The leases are being handed out properly to the devices on the LAN subnet and I can see them on the ARP table. But, they just don't show as leases under Kea. Any idea how to fix this or to further troubleshoot?

Hi Snuffy2,

I'm a Newbie to Opnsense myself. I've recently performed the same operation as yourself (migrating from ISC to KEA) but without the issue you're facing. Two questions for you:

I'll take another look later, but that's all I've got for now. KEA pretty much set itself up for me when I followed the tutorial, so I can't help too much. Maybe the experts who have been using Opnsense for year will chime in when they've a moment to spare?

Hope this helps  :)

can you also show the services>Kea DHCPv4>subnets details for the subnet that you set up?  Hit the edit button to see details.

Are these reservation IP addresses also held static on the client devices or are they (client devices) set for DHCP ?
