Hi Team

Not sure if anyone else is experiening this, but 24.7.5 is running about 10 degrees C hotter than the previous version which was already up on version 23.

Is there any fix for this on the horizon?

I'm running on bare metal hardware.

No, it is not running hotter, only the new widget reports it as hotter because it determines the temperature during the widget updates. There are tons of threads about this, which you can find if you use the forum search.

Yes, fixes have been proposed and no, none is ready yet.

That's why I run a network monitoring system (https://www.observium.org/) that polls the temperatures of all my devices via SNMP.

My readings are hotter as well. My router also feels hotter. I agree this is subjective.
